Also keep an eye out for the monthly sales. Most things are already pretty well priced but most of the staples go on sale too. TP, paper towels, trash bags, detergent, diapers, deodorant, toothpaste, etc is usually on sale at some point. We stock up then to have a backup of most things and around time we need more it's back on a new sale.

Keep an eye out for the items the the * by the price, those won't be reordered so if it's something you want pick it up before it's out. And look for the stuff that's priced at .97, .79, .49, etc, these are likely indicating better deals, like reduced prices to clear stock.

As for more meat, I usually buy my brisket, pork shoulder, and ribs from Costco as well. I bought some beef short ribs today for the first time so we'll see how that goes.

I have a question about the Avocado Oil.

Is it better for sautéing/high heat or is it more for salad dressings/no heat?

Zero carbs and delicious. I haven't used them with dip or hummus, but it's the perfect vehicle. Real parmesan is the only ingredient.

Pricewise, the 9.5 oz bag is $9.95ish. It says 15 servings, but one bag was five servings for me (addictive, hard to stop eating).

2.5 oz bags are $14.95 at Amazon!
