Well the policy isn't going to work at all in any Regal or AMC theaters...unless those companies actually go back to having theater ushers in each theater.
Everything is accessible, you pay for one movie go see another...no one is stopping kids or parents. All these multiplexes, once you pay, you can ride the escalator to any damn movie you want.
We used to have a theater growing up...the R-rated movie was on one side...and the PG movie was on the other...and paying outside, you went inside either left or right and the concession stand blocked and separated the two different screens.
That's what you'd need now to keep little kids out of R movies.
