proper tool + large C clamp and a 1x4 to prevent the clamp from damaging the piston.
press it shut and they will fit.

Reservoir cap is of and I used a c-clamp with the old brake pad to push them back in. I then used c clamp and socket to seat them individually.

I typically just use the old brake pad flipped in the spot with a c clamp.
