I have a zx22.
Not sure how the new SX models handle but more weight generally equals smoother ride in rough water.
Oh and get a 24 ft, not having the extra 2 foot will piss you off everytime you use the boat

This. If you want a boat for the marsh, get a skiff. If you want a boat primarily for open water, get a 24'. I fished out of a ZX22 for 12 years. I loved it, but every single time I was in any open water and it got rough, I wished I had a 24.
