Wife found his guy in my car port today. We were staining my deck, so my guess is that he was on the move b/c of that.
Looks like a mocassin to me. What yall think?

Yup, even in that crappy pic it's obviously a Cottonmouth - which makes it all the more frustrating that people constantly misidentify harmless watersnakes as Cottonmouths.

I walked up on two of them by the pond yesterday. They are definitely out and about right now
