I agree with everything except this part. As someone that knows him and has had over 50 chances to interact this off the court stuff is absolutely not true.

Also it is quite a hypocrisy to say he shys away at times from taking the big shot or jumpers much less, and then say he needs things to revolve around him.

This was a team effort that contributed to this teams season. While there factors that hurt it immensely that cannot be controlled: in injuries, players sitting out, etc. I question the team CJJ built from the start and the players he played. That is the fundamental issue with having so many players that have "versatility", while it is usually not a bad thing, we had guys that were okay at multiple things but not great at any one, coupled with obvious consistency issues from the entire team, it was a poor year.

He played on a team that was terribly coached and that did nothing in terms of offensive scheme to help him assert himself. And he still managed to score boatloads of points...
Article is wrong.

I certainly wish Ben the best and he's about to make crazy money, which we would all jump at. Going forward I think his biggest obstacle will be hitting a consistent jumper from 12' to 16'. If he get that part of his game to come around he'll be a stud at the next level. I'm proud he was a TIGER.

Screw the gumps
