I go if I suspect flu. They do a nasal swab and know in minutes.

If I have it, I know to stay away from coworkers and others to avoid spreading it, and I can get an Rx to help some.

Last time I had the flu, the symptoms were very mild (I had the flu shot, which can reduce symptoms even if you still get the flu), and I was on the way to work when I got checked just in case. Good thing I checked, or I would have exposed a bunch of other folks.

This is exactly why I went to Urgent Care as soon as I started feeling sick(running fever) last month. With all the flu going around at work I didn't want to be exposing patients/coworkers if I had the flu. Also...I could then let employee health know and they would monitor when I could return to work. Plus...if I had the flu or strep I could be started on meds.
