re: Iberia Parish Sheriff and several deputies charged with civil rights violations

Abuse of power by any public official, at any level, should seriously be a capital offense with much, much harsher penalties and death penalty qualifications at a much lower threshold than used for civilians; also, they should be tried by a military tribunal with an accelerated trial process.
