re: Video of Oregon protester being shot is released, FBI agents under investigation

So I read up a little on the situation, I think adding some back story helps.

This was about a week in to the "siege" of the Wildlife Refuge buildings in Oregon by well armed "militants". This was the first time that LaVoy in his truck and the two other leaders of the whole thing, the Bundy brothers, had both left the compound together. The police were letting people come and go as they pleased for days in order to prevent a shoot out.

The two Bundy Brothers whom you can hear Lavoy talking about in the video, gave themselves up peacefully when they were first stopped.

LaVoy was conceal carrying a 9mm and there were multiple other weapons found in the vehicle. There was an officer trying to get close enough to LaVoy to tase him but he was moving irrationally, when the shots were fired.

Maybe there were things the police could of done better, but LaVoy was thought to be armed, acting irrationally, and in fact was armed. You simply don't act out rapidly and irrationally like that when police have weapons drawn.
