What makes everyone so sure Saban WANTS to come back??

Apparently guys who sit in front of their computers all day on TD.com also are in a position in life to have high connections with LSU boosters, admins, people in the Athletic department, janitors, cousins of RP, and realtors that all say he would crawl back here for less money and a huge buyout.

If Saban really wants to come back and is offered, I think he knows this would be has last opportunity to do it. He would just have to weigh the bad pub. he gets for job hopping vs if he really thinks he'd be happy.
I think it's kind of like when you split w/ a girlfriend. Well when you decide to get back together, everything is easier cause your used to each other, but the things that frustrated you before are the things that still frustrate you now(always have to worry if he bolts for the NFL again) and things never get back to the point they were when ya'll first went out.

That is what y'all don't understand. The media hates the SEC but they hate Alabama 10 times more than they do the other SEC schools. They would make Saban look like a hero for leaving. They would say what character it shows that he took a pay cut. They would destroy Alabama in the media. It would bury our football program.

first off, let me say WOW. i was speechless for a few minutes after reading this. a true example of how ignorant and inbred 90% of bama fans can be. the media hates bama??? since when??? all you here about is how great they were, are and will be next year. of all the sec teams, id say bama dick is sucked the most. which is why the SEC is based in birmingham. which is why bama has fewer penalties CALLED than anyone else.
yet to the rest of the league, it is a mystery why bama is regarded as so "great". sure there was a time when bama was superior. they have several self-proclaimed national championships to prove it. maybe if you stepped out of your own crimson-necked, toothless, white trash looking head once in a while and saw things from the other side you would realize why people dislike bama so much. you cause it yourself. but as for the media, maybe they just get a kick out of putting your trailer trash fans on tv each week, but they sure love you. maybe when you finally start winning again they will love you even more and make you happy again.

Saban leaving Bama for LSU would be an embarrassment to all parties:
LSU, for hiring a guy that every day builds his reputation as an insatiable jackass and a quitter, who is not looking as good as a coach as he used to
Saban, for leaving Bama under 1000x worse pretenses than he left Miami
Bama, for signing a guy to a $4MM a year contract with no buyout clause and not even being able to keep him longer than a year (I believe Saban is the 6th head coach hired by Bama since Stallings retired)
