If the majority doesn't want it to happen, why are they asking a rep from Franklinton to do their bidding instead of pressuring their own elected officials?

Again, why the frick should my North LA tax dollars be used to support purely local issues?

Because the elected officials aren't listening. They're too busy grandstanding to cater to a minority.

Because New Orleans and Monroe are both part of Louisiana
