No dumb arse, because Richard was the President of both the LSU Foundation and TAF. He is extremely respected in the business community, and obviously has been both a major academic and athletic contribuotr to LSU. He and Susan just happen to be close personal friends of Skip's and Sandy's. Richard's input was there long before Skip became AD.
