He didn't cut the workforce that much, he played shadow games and eliminated vacant positions. I know this firsthand

Tell that to my wife. She worked at HP Long in Alex. that was shut down. Some shenanigans were afoot, because there are HPL clinics funded by the state, but run by the local hospital. I know this firsthand

You misinterpreted my post. I didn't say it didn't happen, its unfortunate that people lost their jobs, I'm saying it didn't happen as much as demonstrated by that article. Several hundred or a few thousand losing their jobs isn't equivalent to 30k.
