Would we prefer this, or just have A&M beat Vandy to ensure we have a top 4 spot with a win vs UK?

The tiebreaker (unless changed recently) would be the record against the other tied teams.
Scenario 1: LSU wins, SC loses atleast 1 game, Vandy wins
4 way tie for 1st and LSU would be the #1 seed
LSU 4-1
Vandy 3-2
A&M 2-3
UK 1-4
Scenario 2: LSU wins, SC wins out, Vandy wins
5 way tie for 1st and LSU would be the #2 seed
SC 4-1
LSU 4-2
Vandy 3-3
A&M 2-4
UK 2-4
Think I added these results up correctly

Crazy how Kentucky wouldn't be in the top 4 to get the double bye in the SEC. I don't see it happening though.
South Carolina loses to Arkansas on Saturday.

Second tie breaker is teams' records against #1 seed so in the 5 way tie scenario, I believe they would get the #4 seed.
UK is 1-0 vs SC compared to A&M at 0-1 vs SC.

This is the ideal scenario.
We would be the 2 seed. aTm and Kentucky would play in the quarterfinal round, with the winner getting South Carolina.
We'd play someone like Ole Miss in the quarters, then Vandy in the semis.
Win those two games, we'd be in.

Also, if Vanderbilt wins, LSU wins, and South Carolina loses one of their remaining two, LSU would be the #1 seed in the SEC Tournament.
It would be:
1) LSU
2) Vanderbilt
3) Texas A&M
4) Kentucky
So while it would be cool to say we're the #1 seed, unless that gave us some sort of bump with the committee, we don't want it. Because then we'd face Kentucky in our 2nd game.
