There's a difference between the shark's tooth you found on your uncle's farm and a 2,000 lb intact triceratops skull.

Nowadays they only weigh 800 lbs, there's less of them and they cost twice as much

I have found shark teeth and dinosaur bones.


Honestly, they are just cool. Not all that helpful overall in geology.
