Saw a couple pull a nice sized trout yesterday around noon on elmers. Guy at the marina said he caught a 22 pound red close to there yesterday morning.

About to head out again before the weather gets here.

Radar looks like it's just spots of storms for south Louisiana. Is it worth fishing after it rains here or does it scare the fish away?

Just wondering if I'll be able too fish at all today or just say to hell with it and go Chalmett-ion hunting. Also where's the best red beans and rice around here?

I went out to Elmer's, but everyone I talked to sd the bite was dead. Let us know how you make out. I may have to head back out this weekend.
