PSA Gonzales traffic(hwy30)

Anyone having to use hwy30 in Gonzales between Burnside and I10 beware. I know this is everywhere but this area seems the worst. It seems that NOONE is paying full attention here. Most have a cellphone raised in front of them. Doesn't matter if it's the rush hour with dangerous traffic in every direction. Also, if you see vehicles coming to a stop sign from a side road, please be careful, they never stop at the sign. Ever. They roll right through and just pull in front of you. Commonplace here moreso than other places it seems. It's worth bypassing the area during the lunch hour as well. Just thought I'd share this. Pure kamikaze drivers in this area.

My son has basketball practice on Fridays at 530 at Lamar Dixon. Waiting to turn left off of 30 onto St. Landry is quite an experience.

Soda, there is a huge livestock show at LD today. The place is full. Maybe allow more time to get there today.

I've done that. Used to work in port Allen. Hwy. 30 hasn't graduated to that level yet. I work in Essen now. Now there's a contender for you.
