As mentioned by everyone else, you will be fine hiking up Camelback. Your biggest injury risk will be slipping/falling while rubber necking all the hot 20-somethings and MILFs in yoga pants and booty shorts going up and down the trail.
While the Echo Canyon trail is steeper the eye candy is much better than the easier Cholla trail. Bring some water, a snack for the top, a camera/phone, and take your time. If you have never done any desert mountain hiking you are in for a treat. The rock formations along the hike and the 360 degree view of the valley at the top are outstanding.
