this is what UNC fans bring up to defend him. Dude, those 2 teams were head and shoulders above everyone talent wise. We'd be here all day naming the squads he underachieved with. Name me one team he's had at UNC that overachieved, I'll wait!! He just rolls the ball out and says "play".....he sucks!!

So he can't get any credit for putting those teams together?
In college basketball recruiting is just as important as anything else a coach does.
On average he makes the final 4 about every 3 years, he has 2 championships, and whenever people mention the best basketball coaches in college he is always left behind the Izzo's and Krzyzewski's. Not sure how that's overrated.
