He is 5'11" with short arms. Bad fit for this offense in which we have no ability to develop accuracy. Athletic ability at this level is more than straight line speed. Athletic ability encompasses speed, height, length, hands, lateral speed, stopping ability and on and on.

No sir, he may not possess the size wanted, but that is not "athletic ability". I would bet that he was one of the MOST athletic overall WR's on the team DESPITE his lack of size.

Here is an example, was Trindon EVER considered not athletic? He was the very definition of an explosive athlete. Hell, he was 5'5" and could dunk all over your arse. Is he not athletic????

Look, he got passed up on the depth chart

end of story. Best of luck to him.

Arguing over him on a message board isn't going to change anything

Did anyone else think that he looked just way to bulked up this past year? His legs looked massive and he did indeed look like he was hitting the iron big time.

I don't know what that Doc guy was trying to say, but actually, I believe Quinn was playing out of position, especially in this offense. We really should have our taller receivers playing in the slot because our QB has accuracy issues. I think Quinn would have been better on the outside because of his route running and how polished he actually was. His issue as noted here was he couldn't get off the block as a freshman, but all our receivers had that issue. They also had Jennings throwing to them. He only saw 1 receiver. As mentioned here, we are easily defended by our personnel. He was not a TE, but he was used exclusively as a blocker. I really don't blame him for leaving. He was probably promised a lot to come here, and saw through the bullshite with Cam staying.
