Wiems are awesome, but they have specific needs. You better be ready to commit time to one. They need a ton of exercise and suffer from separation anxiety if you leave them alone a bunch. They want to be with you at all times. Very trainable, but if they don't recognize an alpha personality, they will assume it. I had one for 13 years and she got better with age. they are goofy as hell when they're young. Provide a lot of cheap entertainment. My sister has a German Shepherd, and she is an excellent dog as well.
