This is the exact point I was trying to make with #1. If Bob doesn't want marijuana users at his company, he will still reserve the right to not employ/fire them on that basis. That is also what I meant by the "norm".

Idk where you got religious zealots, or any of that other bullshite.

Bob currently cannot discriminate hiring someone because use of a legal activity off the clock. You cannot fire someone for drinking a beer after work. If marijuana is legalized at the federal level, they won't be to for off the clock marijuana use.

They can fire someone in Colorado for marijuana use, because it's still a federally prohibited substance.
