That it would fix the economy. How many lawyers, police, judges, prison guards, drug testing employees etc would be laid off if weed was legal? How many of those wouldn't be able to find new jobs and instead of being taxpayers would become leeches? How many would default on their student loans when you know LA has WAY too many new lawyers as it is? How many people would not be on probation and not paying monthly fines for drug testing if it was legal? How much less booze would be sold if weed was legal? What about prescription meds and all of the jobs that come along with them like docs and pharmacists? All it does is shift money around but most people aren't smart enough to grasp that.

Now let's talk about how many people in the ghettos of LA supplement, or make their entire income from selling weed. If you take away that income stream violent crime in nice neighborhoods will skyrocket. That might offset some of the issues I mentioned above but is violent crime worth it?
