Yea Blanco was a great Governor. Lmao.
The state had a surplus of 17 million for the 04-05 budget.. Then it became 1 billion... Gee what major event occurred in Louisiana in 2005?
The reason we have a deficit is due to oil crashing. When your budget relies on 65 a barrel and it becomes 22 at one point it shouldn't be a shocker to anyone that understands a budget how you would gain a deficit quickly.

I have said this multiple times on this board and no one wants to believe it. They are too happy filling up their tacomas for 20 dollars.
