It's hard to say really without seeing the movie yet what if anything failed. i stand by my original feelings that it would have been impossible for the DCU to do the same things as Marvel due to TDKT just being released. When your most popular character just had a very popular trilogy and the only way for you to include him in your universe is to reboot him, it makes it difficult to sell solo films for him so soon. Maybe it's just as simple as bringing in too many characters like WW and DD. Personally I think it has more to do with how the characters are presented rather than how many characters are introduced. Maybe it's just that the movie is bad from a story aspect. Maybe it's all of the above. Who knows really. shite, maybe WB is just being overly cautious right now. Maybe this guy is full of shite. And again, I think the floor for this film is $1 billion. It will be successful. However, I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing in terms of the creative team driving this....
