Eagle River is nice, that's where I lived when I was up there. It is kinda like Anchorage's Mandeville. Get ready for a culture shock lol. Some end up like Roger and some end up like me and never want to see that hellhole again. The scenery no matter how pretty it looks fades to background eventually.

For some, yes. For others, no. If it's home, you never tire of the scenery. Some people just aren't a good fit.

It's as beautiful now as it was 20 years ago. Maybe moreso, as I've explored so many places I didn't know existed.
