I was paying $199/month for ATT internet and DirecTV and like most only watch select channels so I decided to cancel DirecTV and went to YouTubeTV for $40 a month. Well, after cancelling my service, which took me through three CSR's to get it done, I get a call the next day from someone higher up. Turns out they reduced my rate by $85/month for 12 months with no contract. My wife was ecstatic as she didn't like the layout of YouTubeTV. So, now our bill is $115/month instead, only $15 more than what YouTubeTV/internet would have been with 240+ more channels.
Btw, would have gone with DirecTVNow but they only carry the local NBC channel in our area.
Couldn't pass this deal up. Will try to cut the cord again next year. Good luck guys......
