Offensively, USCe is not a great scoring team, but they do one thing exceptionally well...attack the basket. They lead the nation in free throw attempts per game. They don't shoot it well once there, but regardless, when you go to the charity stripe 30 times a game, it's a huge advantage.
And if you watch us carefully, that's not an area we excel at stopping. That will be a challenge for us.
Also, while USC certainly ain't a pretty team to watch, they do play with toughness. We have only sporadically shown that inclination. We'll need to bring that to win tomorrow IMHO.

If Blakeney continues his hot streak, we win this one. Statement game.

I really hope I'm wrong, but I think people are underestimating USC around here. Yes, their schedule sucks, but it has given their players confidence. They have some talented players. Dozier and Thornwell were both very very highly recruited and Carrera and Notice have been around since my HS days 12 years ago. Talented players with confidence, no matter the competition, play better.
I'll say this, I woke up today with a better feeling. It's just hard to predict what will happen because it is in the refs' hands. If the refs let them play, we won't be stopped. If they call every touch foul, we are in trouble. They have no depth either, but I view it as like the UF game where they will get the benefit of more "crucial" calls.
