So you're saying that black people intimidate you with their propensity towards a victim psyche. You treat them differently than you would a white guy because they are always offended. Man, you're just full of soft racism today.

Listen little troll boy, you can turn everything I say into racism because I'm white, or you can have an intelligent discussion about how stupid it is to offend your subordinates as a supervisor in an office. But I'm not going to play your little troll games.

I'm trying to show the OP how to turn this back around on HR should he be called in for his innocent ribbing of a coworker. The truth of the matter is that, in general, blacks don't want to be treated like everyone else. They want everyone to treat them like an emotionally fragile child.

To get offended by something like the OP did shows lack of intelligence.

If you can't have office comradery like this among co-workers, then perhaps his subordinate isn't the right fit for that job.

Also you sound like a real vagina. He made a joke about a football player's poor performance. Literally has zero to do with skin color.

If the OP's HR department is worth a damn, they won't pursue any action. So ridiculous for that guy to be offended.
