Believe me, nothing I said in response to your post wast meant to be judgmental.

For me, the meat starts to taste different at a different size than the one you mentioned. That's all I was referencing.

If you're following the rules, I've got no qualms whatsoever.

I may keep some 3# and under. Like you said, I think the taste does suffer a bit the bigger the fish...just like reds.

Once I caught a 7# from my yak in front some bucket fisherman. You should have seen their faces when I put her back in the water.
