Miles was asked about Fowler leaving the class at the last second.
"It's never fun. We are men of our words and we had a scholarship for him. It's what we do. Many times, the prospect is not held to that same level. But I have always believed that the guys that were meant to be here are here."

CLM had respect enough for the kid to offer him a chance to a part of something special and he honored it until the end.
It's not about the life decision that Fowler chose but, it's the lack of respect and integrity that he gave in return. CLM and LSU will be fine without him and will move forward.
Hopefully, young Fowler will recognize that this is not how you treat situations and people that have shown you respect and want to help. I wish him well and hope he develops on the field and also a stronger character build that I know he would have gotten in Baton Rouge.
