Hmm this link shows 11% of the student population is AA and nationally they make up around 12% not seeing the issue

Well, to be exact and fair you just look at Louisiana, really. It is a state school. Blacks make up 30% of Louisiana's population.
Nonetheless, I think LSU has a pretty good diversity profile.
