Google says MS law on selling dope allows, in the discretion of the court, up to double penalties if done within:
(1,500) feet of, a building or outbuilding which is all or part of a public or private elementary, vocational or secondary school, or any church, public park, ballpark, public gymnasium, youth center or movie theater or within one thousand (1,000) feet of, the real property comprising such public or private elementary, vocational or secondary school, or any church, public park, ballpark, public gymnasium, youth center or movie theater
MS Code § 41-29-142 (2013)
The cat in this case sold coke within 1500 ft of a church. He got 30 years, and could have received as much as 60 years, but they had mercy.
Bonus: He couldn't ever get parole because the church-enhanced thing DQ'd him under MS law.
Your mileage may vary.
Stay in school, kids. Don't do drugs.
