The next man up or just a talented hungry player to push the QB competition? Your thoughts

The rant will not be happy.
I think it is great that he chose LSU.

Probably the smartest QB we have had since Mauck. This kid will win multiple championships as the starting QB here

An intelligent QB is all I have wanted LSU to have for years. FINALLY!!!!

Just what we needed. Will they ever learn?
That did not take long at all.

I saw that...and don't think people understand what "Dual" threat means...you want your QB to be less athletic?

Brody, Chad,
what is your evidence to the claim that Scott is so much more intelligent than those on the roster?
Or did he inherit this intelligence when he became the Rant's most popular three star, 5'8" recruit?

Welcome aboard Lindsey !!
Youngster was accepted at Harvard, so do not think he will have a problem with the playbook.
Reminds me a lot of another 6' QB that did pretty well at LSU, Herb Tyler.
This underrated "3 Star" QB will surprise a few before it is over. Herb started 4 games as a freshman as I recall.

Really dude? How about an academic scholarship to Harvard.. Dude is smart poised and athletic. He will start for Lsu in a few years.. Book it.

Just start preparing your mind for a string of 4 NCs and you'll be fine.
I'm pretty sure he'll cure Alzheimer's and write 2 Pulitzer Prize winning scripts while at LSU as well.
The important part is that there is no pressure when you sign with LSU like there would have been at Harvard.

Herb Tyler had Morris Watts as an OC. Morris Watts was off the chart good. We have Miles ... Any questions ?

Insanity is doing the same thing over again and expecting different results.
