Our offense was awful in the 2nd half.

We constantly had the ball 25 feet from the basket. Put no pressure on their defense. Lots of dribbling and jump shots. Felt like we just let Quarterman do whatever.

Now, it's gotta be hard on Jones when his best player is so passive. Simmons had countless opportunities where the floor was open and he could iso, and he rarely did. If Simmons had the same aggression that Quarterman (good Quarterman) had tonight, we would have won.

That being said, our offense was abysmal. We ran the same double high ball screen like 30 times. And it's not like it was working great or anything to warrant it. No creativity, too much dribbling, no movement away from the ball.

It was Brady Ball out there tonight, boys. Awful offense, but a lot of effort on defense. Just lost Hield a few times at the end.

Simmons is NOT the best player on this team. He could become it, but he needs to act like it and take control of the game. That falling all over him by the announcers is not going to carry him very much further if he doesn't show some aggression.
