His 247 recruiting page had him listed as 6'1 175 LINK

Measurements upon arrival to LSU: 6'3 191 LINK

Awesome size/skill set combination and gotta love the way this kid has been on board since day one. Excited to watch him in purple and gold

I think Smith winds up as the 3rd corner, even though I like how Jackson was playing at the end of the season. I think Smith comes in and plays on the outside and White moves to the nickel where they can use him as a playmaker

I highly doubt that, but he should see some good playing time next year.

I'm pretty sure they told him they want him at nickel and saftey and then work his way to the outside like matheiu

I admire your enthusiasm but freshmen don't knock senior covers like White out of his job. White returns as a renowned man cover specialist which enables us to free up a man elsewhere.

He'll be the third corner and come in when they go to nickel, not replace White. Just that with his height, they could move white into the slot in those situations and blitz him sometimes.

Is this Corey Raymond and Les Miles' first year too? LSU football did exist before aranda.

I like Saivion as much as the next guy, but no way in the world he comes in straight out of high school and takes the starting CB job from a guy who could've gone in the first 2 rounds of the NFL draft had he declared.

You are assuming Miles understands what you wrote. He manages the coaches and isn't into all that defensive mumbo jumbo.
