The auto shutoff can be bypassed by plugging in a third brakelight in the trailer hitch. Probably tricks the computer into thinking there is a trailer behind it to disable that feature. Someone is welcome to chime in if this is incorrect. My info did not come first hand

The starter is built like a brickshithouse to accommodate the starting and stopping sequence. Still not big on it.

The eco diesel is extremely nice. Dodge has come a long way and their leather interior setup looks great.

If you want good power and good mileage unloaded or loaded get the 5.0. My 4x4 gets 18 to 20 highway and 14 pulling a 3500 lb load. A very solid engine.

Now I can live with that. If there's an easy non-permanent way to defeat it that I don't have to manually engage every start, I'm cool with it.
