I don't think he is refusing to differentiate between the two. Homosexuality and pedophilia are sexual preferences. He is fortune telling by saying that homsexuality's acceptance will lead to acceptance of pedophilia. That isn't calling them the same.

I stated an objective fact. The libs tried to ban freedom of choice in health care and were partially slapped down by the Supreme Court. Libs in Houston tried to ban safe spaces where women could shower without being ogled by men, but that was last fall.

Um....nice spin but that's not what happened. You could go to the MCC and marry your boyfriend and there was no law against it. That's not a ban.
Before the Obergefell ruling, most states simply treated that union the same way they treat first cousin marriages--by not recognizing them as valid. All 50 states agreed on that prior to 2004. You can't ban something that doesn't exist.
And the Supreme Court case happened because same sex couples sued to force recognition of their unions. Doesn't matter if you agree or disagree, they were trying to change. Nonrecognition was the default.
