Peabody had good teams during that time didn't come together really until the 2000 team.
The one that sticks out though is the late Charles Hayward. Big, physical center that basically did what we wanted. We didn't ask him to do much with his back to the basket, just rebound and put it back and BOY, would he! He had some of the most powerful 2 hand dunks I've still ever seen. Great player, top 100 I believe recruited by pretty much everybody, but chose UNC Charlotte for personal reasons. Never played much as he was diagnosed with Leukemia and passed in 1999.
