I would put the blame more on the coaches, and Hicks himself.

If Hicks was an issue in the locker room, then I have no problem dealing him. The guy may have wised up from being traded, or he just has better coaches over there. As far as him underachieving here, that can be put on Bill Johnson and/or Rob Ryan.

I'm not a Loomis fan boy, but I have no problem with Loomis for trading Hicks. The trade was pretty much a win/win for both sides, being that we weren't correctly utilizing Hicks, and Hoomanawami played pretty often while with us.

The real problem here, IMO, is that there was an issue with Hicks personally, and his performance on the field dropped after a good sophomore season, rather than him being traded.

Let's not forget how piss poor he performed, got benched, and whined like a little bitch.

A defensive guru and his staff are getting the most out of a player? While an offensive guru got a not used TE and had him contribute a shite ton more. Who would have thunk
