Do you think Mich will still offer Miles?

Heard mixed reports before that he was not on the top of the list. What about now?

No. Miles needed the NC to prove to UM that he was worthy of coaching there. We're stuck with him now.

Yes, he will get the offer and be gone. Hopefully Lombardi and O'keafe have already contacted current head coaches to gauge their interest.

Well not exactly, I believe a clause in his contract states that if he were to win the sec he would also be paid top 3 money as far as sec coaches are concerned. That would still put him in the 3 mil range.

I agree. Maybe he will fire Pelini at the end of the season and convince Muschamp to return to Tiger Town. Nick Saban may be looking for another gig before too long. Maybe Les can bring him onboard to coach the DBs.

I dont think so either.. He would be a lot more attractive coming off a NC.

Want a bad dream??? Lose next week, Mich takes Harbaugh or some other flake, and we get to keep Mr. Underachiever. There's good and there's great. Good puts up a top five finish on the refrigerator door. Great takes all the marbles...

I think Michigan will say we don't want Les after seeing what he did with the talent he had this year. Ferentz will get the job, and we will be stuck with Les.

Yes. There is nobody more suited for that job. And he'll have support from people for that job

Would that be Ferentz...6-6 overall this year and 4-4 in the Big Ten at Iowa?

And if you're going to hang your hat on the "talent" argument...Isn't it the job of the HC to get the talent to his school?

Before everyone stones Les and throws him on the next plane to UM, I think they should take a deep breath and count to 10.

We're 10-2 with arguably one of the toughest schedules in the country and the two teams that managed to beat us BOTH had to take it to TRIPLE overtime.

But you see a 6-6 performance against a weaker schedule as more impressive.

GO FIGURE!

lsu needs to get rid of the michigan clause in his contract, not that um wants him anyways. i'll even chip in if that gets him out of town.

Wow...that's mighty big of you!

You do realize that if you get your wish and Miles leaves...that's only half the problem. Who do you hire to replace him?

Understand that half the clowns on this board wouldn't be happy if Jesus Christ himself was coaching the tigers...and I'm pretty sure he's not available for the job.

So you tell me, who's the SAVIOR going to be?
