Ugh if thats your argument then i cant discuss it. Its a game of skill...you have to put it in the basket more than the other team...without the objective of putting it in the basket teams mine as well go for touchdowns and drop kicks. ...what a lazy statement....every sport has an objective..yes winning i what u want to do but that isny the objective of the game itself...wanting to win and shooting a puck in a soccet net wont get you anywhere

Are you saying that the team in the lead shouldn't use the full shot clock? After all, that is keeping them from putting the ball in the basket more often. This isn't first team to 100 wins. Strategic use of the clock helps a team reach the goal of "putting it in the basket more than the other team."

is quite the funny argument in favor of the very skillful act of intentionally tapping the bad free throw shooter to get him to the line with 9 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.

The spirit of the foul rule was never intended to be used as it is now, it's absurd to think otherwise.
