So somehow I am posting this from my phone, on the wifi network.
When I tried the laptop, I get this message
Im sure there is a simple fix, and it might have something to do with the DHCP, I just found it odd that I get connection from my phone.
ETA: I moved the ethernet cord to the "internet" port on the router and it let me log in to the setup page. I disconnected the DCHP for good measure and everything is working so far from phone and laptop.
