He really wanted a 50's Colt 1911 so I'm just going to let him choose first and he can choose that one. It's the best gun in the collection and he really seems to want it.

On the bright side, obviously you and your brother have a good, solid relationship. Your decision to allow him to pick first is a wise, generous gesture that should eliminate any resentment in the future over who got what.
