Nobody wants to hear or smell your farts. If you have to have someone explain the "why" here, then there's no helping you.

I for one have no problem hearing a good loud fart. I can appreciate that.
I do not want to smell it though. I also don't want to smell cigarette smoke, or most perfumes and colognes, and BO, and bad breath, and many other smells that are a part of everyday life.
I support PAF.
