The boosters just shifted the money for Miles buyout into 20 or so brown paper bags.

Seriously, it amazes me that a coach who was almost fired can turn around and put together this class. It's ridiculous.

No way anybody could keep this class together in the face of a coaching change.
Nor is keeping a No. 1 class worth making the wrong decision on a head coach.
We will see if we made the right choice...

90% of recruiting is done before November. Les did a great job holding on to what he already had, and also did a fantastic job grabbing those last couple of uncommiteds, but this class wasn't "built" after this past November.

it amazes you that a coach who has long been regarded as an excellent recruiter excels at recruiting?

are you amazed by shiny things that make loud noises as well?
