wrong on both points. Bama is our biggest hurdle, but far from our only one.

And home field doesn't mean much between LSU and Bama. In the last 15 games (not counting the NC game in New Orleans), the home team has won only 6 times.

LSU has won 8 times over that span (3 at home and 5 in Tuscaloosa).

Bama has won 7 times (3 at home and 4 in Baton Rouge).

This simplistic analysis totally overlooks the fact that over the the last four years, the games in Tiger Stadium have been consistently close, while the losses in Tuscaloosa have been blowouts. In fact, going back to 2008, all of the home games with Bama have been tightly contested. Of course it's an advantage to play Bama in DV.
