I sell Safeco and I will say they have a box and if you fit into it they can't be beat. Not for someone like Lynxcat who swaps all the time but more geared towards longtime SF and Allstate customers. If you have good credit and been with the same company you are currently with forever they are as low as you can go. I have routinely saved folks 40% over the course of a year. They write an annual policy so it does not go up every 6 months. Also they did go up in rates 2.5% in Mississippi this year.

I had progressive from 03 to 14.
I started tracking in 2008. My average per month from 08 to 14 were
$225
$212
$162 (I had a ticket roll off my record. F YOU LAKE PROVIDENCE!)
$168
$160
$190 (random increase)
$177
I switched to Safeco's and have been at $117 since sept 14. Same coverage, same vehicles (car and truck), no tickets (since 07).
