Rem 870 12 Ga. You can shoot skeet, hunt birds, Deer hunt, Shoot the shite out of stuff, and use as home defense. Lots of options to go with this firearm if you choose to do so
Glock 19. 16 rds of 9mm in a smaller package than the 870.
I would go with both but its up to you

I have been involved in conversations with coworkers regarding home defense weapons and most agree that a shotgun is the weapon of choice. It was pointed out that 00 Buck can be an issue when used for home defense because a shot that misses its intended target could go through a sheetrock wall and kill or injure an innocent person.
What is the OB's opinion on this?
