Singles are always more expensive. I don't sell it in 4 packs because I get so little.

Also more abundant in Houston. I can walk to the Kroger across the Freeway from my office, or the HEB, or the other HEB 6 blocks away and get it in 4 packs.
He's selling singles since they evidently didn't get much, and, if he sells out fast, then the price was right.
If price for a certain beer is way out of wack, then one can assume it'll sit on the shelves till it comes down.

I'm so glad I don't live in BR and have to shop at your dumpy beer department. You're going to sell out of TF whether you break down the 4 packs or not because the supply is so low; jacking up the price is just being a db, but it's right in line with your style.
